The Worship/Communication Committee will be hosting the January reception and Session has approved the committees request for a Cookbook fundraiser!! For the reception, we will be having a Potluck dinner with sign-up sheets in the narthex. We are asking for all participants to bring one or two dishes that are special to you or your family with a recipe attached to each. On the recipe, please put your name and a statement about how or why this dish is special to you or your family. It is our hope to collect recipes beginning on the 19th and throughout the spring months, organize and print in the summer and have the cookbook ready for sale in the fall. We estimate the cost of a cookbook to be around $10-$15.00. We want to also include some New Hope/New Life history, stories, pictures and scripture in the cookbook. It is our hope that the congregation and friends of New Life will contribute and support this exciting fundraiser. After the reception on the 19th, you can continue to submit recipes to Mary Loritsch or Pam Chandler. Thanks!!
